This 100 year old photograph of my great grandfather is an excellent example of how stable photographs from this era can still look as new as possible today. They are printed on fibre base paper which makes them archival and last forever.
When scanned, the retouching that was done directly on the print can sometimes be visible but easily fixed. I am grateful to have so many well preserved images from my family to see how they lived and what they looked like.
I hope you will find your family’s well preserved photographs to have revived and put on display.
